Reason Established: Established as an organizational unit in the College of Education and Human Development to provide timely and appropriate information on the development,application, and maintenance of technology systems that directly enhance education and training. The information is provided through demonstration, training, publications, and technical assistance. The Center's services are availale to all public agencies and private businesses that are interested in teh welfare and education of people through appropriate information technology and distance education.
