Reason Established: Established to provide and promote resources that will enhance mathematics and science education at all levels. To this end, the center offers these services: curriculum development, staff development program consutants, coordination of professional activities, research design and assistance, assistance in the preparation of proposals, workshops and seminars, teacher recognition, and communication and news. Originally established in the College of Education, transferred to the College of Science (approved by the Provost) in 1995.
