Reason Established: Established as an organizational research unit of Texas A&M University jointly within the Colleges of Science and Engineering, and the Texas Engineering Experiment Station. The ISC provides infrastructure for multidisciplinary research in large scale scientific computation with an emphasis on state-of-the-art computational architectures. It also provides computational support for applied mathematicians, engineers, scientists, and computer scientists at Texas A&M and around the world.
