Reason Established: Originally The Companion Animal Geriatric Center MO 320-88, 11/21/88 Renamed to The Madlin Stevenson Companion Animal Geriatric Center (MO 149-90, 5/25/90). Established to (1)address an important societal need for the continued care of companion animals upon the serious incapacitation or death of their owners, and (2)evaluate animal geriatric disorders and develop a wellness program for aging companion animals.
